On June 17, 2016, the Fourth Conference of the Second Council of Guangzhou Popular Science Alliance was held by Guangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences with 30 delegates making their presences from Guangdong Science Center, Guangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guangzhou Zoo, Southern China Botanical Garden, etc. At the conference, participants listened to the report of work summary of the first half of 2016 and highlights of the second prepared by Guangzhou Popular Science Alliance, and they also discussed amendments to the Alliance Constitution, examined and approved the Alliance’s propaganda film and listened to the experience exchange report about Guangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences winning the first prize for scientific and technological progress.
